Dr. Julius Beck is a specialist lawyer for insolvency and reorganization law, for commercial and corporate law, a certified restructuring and reorganization expert (RWS) and a partner at GRUB BRUGGER in Stuttgart.
He advises and represents clients in commercial, corporate and insolvency law matters and at their interfaces.
Dr. Julius Beck advises shareholders, managing directors and creditors in crisis situations on all relevant aspects of restructuring outside of insolvency proceedings (e.g. StaRUG proceedings, insolvency grounds, reorganization agreement, IDW expert opinion) and within insolvency proceedings (e.g. preparation of insolvency petition, self-administration, asset deal, insolvency plan, continuation agreement).
He represents insolvency administrators in the assertion of claims under insolvency and corporate law and also third parties in the defense or assertion of claims against insolvency administrators, such as shareholders, managing directors, persons entitled to segregation and separation and insolvency creditors (in particular insolvency avoidance and directors' and officers' liability).
In the field of corporate law, he is particularly active in M&A transactions (often restructuring-related), the drafting of articles of association and corporate structures, and corporate disputes.
