Dr. Nicolai Fischer is an attorney-at-law and insolvency administrator at GRUB BRUGGER’s Frankfurt am Main office.

He has been working in insolvency administration at GRUB BRUGGER as a Salaried Partner since mid-2026. Since the beginning of 2025, Dr. Nicolai Fischer has been appointed by several local courts, in particular in Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and northern Bavaria, as insolvency administrator and so called Sachwalter in insolvency, self-administration and protective shield proceedings, as well as insolvency plan proceedings. His focus is on the continuation and restructuring of companies in insolvency proceedings. In this context, he has recently advised companies from sectors including fashion, mechanical engineering, retail and personnel services. Prior to joining GRUB BRUGGER, he also worked in insolvency administration at an international law firm.
